Farm Stays at Lower Stock
Lower Stock Farm is set in 250 acres of working farmland in the midst of picturesque countryside just outside Bristol and perfect for farm stays.
We have been a working farm for more than 250 years and during your farm holiday with us – just 30 minutes drive from Bristol city centre – you can take up the opportunity to see, feel and smell what living on a farm is all about.
Depending on the time of year, we have cattle, chicken and sheep on site. Pond-dipping is fun for all and we can provide you with a fishing net…you never know what treasures you might find in our pond!
Wildlife and Nature
We are surrounded by wildlife and there are several walks around the farm, with places to sit back and watch Mother Nature carry on her work around you.
We are also home to the nationally-renowned charity Farmlink which every year gives thousands of children the chance to experience farm life through its educational programmes.
As a result, we know how to keep you and your children entertained, informed and occupied and how to give you a real-life insight into farming on your farm stay.
To add to the full farm stay experience, we serve a locally-sourced farmhouse breakfast each day, (special dietary requirements catered for by arrangement).
We have both bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation available with further details available on our Rates & Rooms and Self Catering pages.
All of our en-suite accommodation comes with on site parking, TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available in the house.
Local Countryside Attractions
If you want to explore the surrounding area, then the Mendip Hills are on our doorstep with Bristol and Weston-super-Mare both 30 minutes drive away.
Other nearby tourist attractions include Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, The Somerset Coast, Wells, Wookey Hole and the National Trust's Tyntesfield House. Further information is available on visitsomerset.co.uk
There are two family-friendly pubs nearby, both of which serve good food – The Plough is in Wrington and The Langford Inn is in Lower Langford.
